Evelyn Joseph received her degree in Economics with Financial Applications from Southern Methodist University over two decades ago. She started her career working for bankers. She learned how they operated and eventually understood that her passion was working in the community on the side of personal clients going through the process of property acquisition or the sale of a primary residence and navigating the intricate decisions that are associated with these transactions. Evelyn believes any goal is achievable when you follow a plan. She understands the principals of achieving faster goals through partnering with the right guide.

Evelyn’s practical problem-solving skills were developed during her formative years when she assisted her mother with her small business. This time period greatly shaped Evelyn’s life trajectory and expanded her view of the world. Her mom was a first-generation immigrant. From the time of high school Evelyn assisted her mom to network, navigate policy change, market, communicate and bookkeep. Her family started their journey in Dallas Fort Worth with no relatives and one distant friend.
Growing up, her mom’s favorite quote was ‘to rise, you have to first raise others.’ Evelyn took that to mean that a fulfilled life is achieved through serving and connecting with others. She loves being able to do this through real estate deals. One of Evelyn’s most vibrant memories was the day her mom drove her from their apartment to their first house. Evelyn was the older sibling and got to choose her room ahead of her brother. She loves reliving this memory with her clients.

Her journey with her own family is what lead her down the path to a career in residential real estate. She believes that establishing a homestead is the beginning of providing stability to a family. She understands that a home can be a significant asset, as the progressive equity of the home can open endless doors to expanding the American dream.
